In the Insert menu click on the Add-ins button and go to the Store tab. If you are using Word 2007, you can do the following to create a manual TOC with tab stops and tab leaders already defined: On the References tab, click Table of Contents, and then click the 'Manual TOC' option. Select the Close button to close the Find and Replace dialog box (see figure 7).
